This Winchester M70 .308 cal "Featherweight" , 22" barrel, Shiney bore. Tight action, beautfully 99% Bluing on the barrel (Mint) w/factory adjustable
"White Dot Flip rear sight and shrouded front sight, matt receiver, drilled, tapped & plugged w/factory as set screws (Appears to not have had ever
any scope brackets. This is the first M70 that I've seen in a long time that appears in about a"ANIB" condition .
The stock has no cracks (About 98%), dings (Some very faint handling marks along the top of the comb & very faint below the chamber side).It has a
straight grain and imaculate checkering w/the Aluminum Horned Buttplate and floorplate. It to me is an excellent choice for the very discerning M70
Collector.. A great fiream for both the range or special hunting safari.
The receiver is flawless very minimum usage. The bolt is numbered to the friearm. The overal conditon of this preowned M-70 shows excellent
maintenace & outstanding care. .
I would rate this Winchester M70 "Feather weight" as an "NRA" Excellent
