EARLY SMITH & WESSON K38 K-38 TARGET MASTERPIECE PRE-MODEL 14 .38 SPECIAL 6" BLUE 5-SCREW REVOLVER, CIRCA 1949. Serial number "K75XXX" and all matching including grips. Excellent screws. Original grips are matching but have one small chip(1/4") on right flat that has been glued back on at front strap. Case colors still on hammer and trigger. Original sights correct. Original factory blue at 85% with balance on cylinder and barrel. Tiny spot of pitting on right muzzle with cold blue over. Tight lockup and cycles brilliantly. Mint bore, riflling and chambers. Nice condition for such an early gun. Has many years left in it.
