Description:
In very high original condition, a rare and early 16 bore double rifle by W.W. Greener. Bank vault does not do the long bar Jones UL action justice. Beautiful timed screws, UL screw with minor marring. Unusual firing pins are retracted by the non-rebounding hammers. 25" heavy damascus barrels have near pristine bores, 3 folding leaves, circa 100" twist, and 2.5" chambers. Sound well figured original wood, LOP 14.5 thru checkered steel plate, drops 1.5 and 2.25 to sights with .2 cast off. Minor sliver from wedge-retained forend. 10 lbs, 3.5 drams, probably round ball rifle.
