At HEFFRON PRECISION© we know Python revolvers! It only makes sense that we jumped head-first into creating THE BEST Action Job and Trigger Job available for the NEW PYTHON 2020! We have performed over 100 Action and Trigger Jobs on the NEW Pythons with total positive feedback! All friction points within the mechanism are extensively polished without sacrificing dimension or hardness. We perform 1 minor geometric alteration that elevates single-action trigger performance significantly. WE DO NOT ALTER THE SPRINGS! Our results are achieved through extensive polishing in specific areas and with our minor geometric alteration (which is THE KEY for a crisp, clean, and light single-action trigger pull). We DO check the mainspring to assure that its tension is within factory specifications. If not, we adjust it with the proper tooling. Our NEW Python tuning of the action and trigger takes nearly 5 hours in the shop! There is NOT a smoother revolver to be found! Your NEW Python will have the smoothest action you will find anywhere at any price! It will have a single-action trigger pull of approximately 2.75 pounds (that is CRISP) and a double-action trigger pull of approximately 7.75 pounds (that is SLICK).
