Description:
Winchester model 1894 rifle takedown made in 1898 caliber 32WS. Good overall condition, excellant bore. This takedown rifle was made in 1898 and therefore quilfies as an antique. Blued finish remaining and receiver, tube and barrel with some patina in these locations. Tang is drilled for receiver sight which isn't present.Overall finish is even but worn as you would expect. Note five notches on the right side of the buttstock near the tang. Good wood to metal fit on the 122 year example of one of John Browning's best designs and Winchester's trade mark rifle. Was asking a very reasonable $1550 for this rifle but have now reduced the price to $1,350.
