Description:
The item for sale is a Remington 1894 Shotgun. This is a very early production gun manufactured in 1896 or 1897. As shown in the photos the shotgun is in high condition. The case colors are beautiful as they are bright having faded very little with time. The wood and checking are very good with only very minor handling marks with no cracks or repairs. The steel barrels retain nearly all (approx 95%) of their blue. The action is very tight, locks up tight indicating a gun that saw little use. The barrels are 30" choked full and full. The barrel rib is flat as provided on the early 1894's. The bores are excellent. Please provide $45 to cover shipping and insurance. As this is an antique it can be shipped directly to the buyer, a FFL is not required.
