Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are super proud to offer this fine example of Winchester's venerable model 1894, decked out as a special order deluxe model. The special features are a pistol grip stock, checkering on figured walnut, shotgun butt, case color lever and hammer, takedown configuration, and half magazine. The icing on the cake is a nifty Lyman folding peep sight with the hard to find locking lever. The 2 leaf folding barrel sight is a perfect compliment. Made in the year of our Lord 1920, she is in wonderful condition for being 101 years old. The blue is fairly even, with some drifting to plum and silvered edges. The lever and hammer retain generous amounts of case color, and the loading gate is nitre blue. The nicely figured walnut has only light handling marks, and the checkering is fairly crisp. The action is smooth and tight, and works as designed, including the half cock safety. The barrel address, nickel steel, caliber, and serial number markings are all sharp and clear. The tang and stock bear the same special order assembly number. The bore of the 26 inch round barrel has lots of shine and strong rifling. Born this late, it was unlikely that it ever saw black powder. Also, Winchester discouraged special orders by this time, so deluxe features are even more of a rarity in this era. She takes down in about 10 seconds, and locks back up tight just as fast. Make no mistake, this is one handsome rifle. If you like the photos, you will like the gun in hand even better. These lever guns have always captured our attention, with over 6 million made. All have increased in value, but these special order guns have been skyrocketing for decades. I will list this one for less than any currently on the market. If you have been looking for the right '94 to collect or for investment, but want the added clout of 6 special order features, then look no further.
