Description:
Very interesting special order Deluxe short rifle, 22" barrel with take down feature. Barrel retains 90% plus original blue, with nickle steel barrel and excellent bright shinny bore. Receiver is nice with vivid fire blue loading gate. Rifle is factory fitted with Lyman 21 receiver sight or "Climbing Lyman" and Lyman beech comb front sight and standard sporting rear. The capped pistol grip stock is very clean with minor impressions, and sharp checkering. Note "small chip out left hand side back of receiver" . Wood retains virtually all it's original varnish. Gun is stamped with British proof marks on the left hand side of the barrel. Great special order deluxe gun in a sought after caliber 38-55. MFG 1920 Too late to letter, but this rifle is all original Winchester . I've shot this rifle it's tight and grouped well.
