"U.S. 1819 Hall breechloading musket 2nd type. Very nice gun with 65% of the original arsenal brown finish. Wood is very good. On left hand side of stock are a couple of unusual marks that appear to have been painted on during the period of use. Gun works perfectly. These are unique guns in being the first U.S. breechloaders. Very fine original condition.
