EXCELLENT CONDITION, FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION, MODEL No. 1-1/2 SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER, .32 S&W CENTER FIRE CALIBER, 3 1/2" BARREL WITH FACTORY LETTER, #82XX, SHIPPED 1878. These 5-shot revolvers were made from 1878-1892. this example with nickel finish, black hard rubber grips and 3.5" barrel was shipped August 23, 1878 to S&Ws largest distributors M. W. Robinson, New York City (all in S&W factory letter). All matching numbers, exc. grips, retains most of the bright original nickel finish with only some light peeling on the cylinder and a few tiny spots on the right side of the barrel rib flute and on the frame behind the right recoil shield- really minor. tight action, fine bore, exc. blue on the barrel latch. Remarkable condition for an almost 123 year old S&W!
