Description:
L.C.Smith O grade ejector built in 1909. This gun has 26" damascus barrels with excellent bores and great wall thickness. The barrels measure .070" in front of the chambers with a minimum overall thickness of .030" near the muzzle. A very good set of damascus barrels. The barrels are choked cylinder (.000" and improved cylinder (.005"). The barrels are original length and have not been cut. The gun still retains 40% of the original case colors, 90% of the damascus pattern, and 80% of the original wood finish. The stock is sound with no cracks or damage. The stock dimensions are 131/2"x13/4"c23/4" and are original. This is a great little bird gun that is perfect for grouse,woodcock,or preserve quail. I have shot Remington 1 ounce loads in it with no problems. Remarkable condition for 112 year old gun. C&R eligible.
