Payment Types Accepted: money order Description: Here is a very nice Smith and Wesson Russian 2nd Model retaining 80%+ original nickel. Good tight action that all works fine. Wood grips with no chips or cracks. .44 Russian caliber of course. Bore is very good- see pictures. Some minor fuzziness in a spot or two but a good shooting revolver with sharp rifling. Lettering on the barrel rib is much sharper than my photography skills- all there and very readable. This model was supposedly the one carried by Virgil Earp to the OK Corral fight. Sadly, it was not this gun. At least I don't think it was this gun. :) Made in early 1870s so it can come direct to your door with no ffl required in most states. I've shot this gun and it shoots fine- black powder or low pressure cowboy loads of course. Have it checked by a good gunsmith first. $40 shipping and insurance to your door in most states. Layaway available.
