Description:
Made in 1877, this grand #3 frame Lifter 10ga Parker Grade 3 gun was shipped to JP Lovell in Boston, MA. It is a 10ga gun with 32" Damascus barrels, made with splinter forend, fantastic checkered ball grip buttstock, and original skeleton buttplate. The gun is beautifully engraved in Grade III pattern with dogs in game scenes on locks and geometric designs on top.

The gun matches the PGCA letter exactly as found today and remains in excellent condition overall. The barrels retain nearly all of a beautifully professional restored pattern. The action retains 60% gorgeous original case colors. Wood is excellent having had some dents steamed out with original finish remaining and some finish added for preservation. Stocks are sound and excellent. The quality of the checkering on this gun is excellent and it is quite fine and crisp. Overall, this is a really beautiful early lifter!
