Gold Rush era 1851 Colt Navy revolver. Serial No. 5893. Manufactured in 1851. ORIGINAL-ORIGINAL-ORIGINAL. Very early 3rd Model small guard. You seldom ever see an 1851 Navy made in second year production as good as this. This is a GREAT EXAMPLE. The soft original blue is about 50% on barrel. Just traces on the cylinder. Original blue is seen in the actual cylinder chambers. All cylinder pins standing. Bore is excellent plus. Not fired much, if any. Cylinder scene is 100%. Orsmby stamp is perfect. Mechanically fine. Mousy casecolors are present but fading. Heavy silver is 95%. Original Slim Jim varnished grips have a few marks as seen. All numbers match except wedge as seen.
