Description:
.58 caliber, 40" barrel dated "1863". The lock showing the maker's name and dated "1863" as well. All parts finished bright except the rear sight which is blue. An unissued example showing all of the bright polish dulling with some area of staining. Many areas still have the dried grease from storage. Mint bore. Excellent wood with crisp edges and two perfect U.S. inspector's carouches. I believe that this will clean to new.
