Description:
American Derringer Corps, Model 7, ultra light weight, over/under double-barrel derringer chambered in .38 Special.  The gun has Blackwood grips, a grey matte finish, an external hammer, tip-up barrels, fixed sights, and automatic barrel selection for its two shots.  According to the American Derringer Corp , the frame and barrel are made from high strength aircraft aluminum and is equipped with a manually operated hammer block type safety. The safety automatically disengages when the hammer is cocked.  The overall length of the gun is 5 inches.  Barrel lengths are 3 1/8 inches.  The gun’s unloaded weight is 8.4 ounces.  The grip width is 1 inch. 
 
Other accessories include, the original box, box sleeve, and instruction/warranty sheet, Parts List, and Operating Instructions
 
The overall condition of this gun is 99 percent.  Aside from some carbon stains, the only marks on the gun are a few shiny areas, mostly on the right side of the frame where the barrel latch has contacted the frame to open and close the breech for loading.  The Blackwood grips are unmarred.  It has been fired, but not a lot.
