The Savage® 11/111 Long Range Hunter Bolt-Action Rifle is offered as part of Savage's series of specialty rifles, specifically designed to hit targets at extreme range. The Long Range Hunter comes with Savage's Accustock®—an injection molded, aluminum bedded synthetic stock that provides a stable platform for consistent accuracy. The stock features an adjustable comb, a checkered pistol grip and forearm, and a rubber recoil pad. The medium-contoured barrel features an adjustable muzzle brake to manage recoil, allowing shooters to concentrate on placing shots with precision. The receiver is drilled and tapped for installing optic sights. The 11/111 Long Range Hunter features Savage's AccuTrigger® that is fully adjustable to provide a light, clean, crisp break; while a lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, virtually minimizing the risk of accidental discharge. A hinged floorplate facilitates loading and unloading the bolt-action rifle, and a 3-position safety allows the chamber to be loaded and unloaded with the safety engaged.
