<<<<<SOLD>>>>> These Belgian made doubles worked their way to the U.S. during amd after the Civil War and many were purchased by the Confederacy for their calvary . Reading a book years ago abut the Texas volunteer calvary , it was required to join an unit to bring rwo revolvers, and a dounble barrel shotgun, good horse and saddle, as these units weren't supplied with purchased equipment, you had to bring your own weapons to join. This ole girl has 30" barrels that are browned and the bores are good ,as the barrels are thick for damascus . Left tube has a choke of CYL and the right tube is a very tight FULL. . Action works good for both hammers and hammers are the same heigth, buy slightly different design. The European srocks is clean and has no issues, thr LOP is about 15 1/2:" with a steel factory fitted butt-plate. Comes with a hardwood ram-rod with a twist design made by flame method of the 19th century. The locks have no maker name and the top of the barrels havwe a smalla Belgian proofs. Overall a colorful working 19th century black-powder muzzle loader double..When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
