#N88043B, Beretta 28 Bore Model 687 Extra with Sideplates, The 687 Extra is a Premium Grade that was available from Premium dealers only, This is the same gun that is now called a 687 EELL Classic, Made in 2001, 6 Each Factory Screw Chokes, 28" Ejectors Barrels at .548 .018 Rev. Like a WSI - .008 - .013 - .020 - .025 & .026" (Like WSI - SktII - Mod. - Imp. Mod. - Full & Full), 2 3/4" Chambers, Single selective trigger, Full side plates with hand enhanced floral and scroll engraving that is very nicely done with 95% coverage, The engraving pattern from Giovanelli and signed, Excellent wood with very nice color and contrast with fairly deep black and brown color, Game forend with a schnabel, Pistol grip stock at 14 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 2 3/16" over a 7/16" factory pad, It will go to 15 1/8" with a 1" pad installed, Very slight cast-off for the right hand, x lbs. x oz., Vacant initial oval in buttstock line, The barrels at 99.5% original blue, The receiver finish is at 100%, The original stock finish is at 99.5%, The checkering at 100%. The bores are new and this piece remains in mechanical condition of 100% overall. This piece really remains as a new game gun. It is cased in the factory molded trunk with the paper work. As you can see in the photos, Beretta does a nice job with very handsome engraving and excellent wood.
