Another fine “ESTATE” firearm offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you a Browning Model 81 "BLR" Browning Lever Action Rifle chambered in the hard to find .308 Winchester caliber.
The left side of the barrel is marked "Browning Arms Company Morgan Utah & Montreal P.Q. / Made In Japan / NP". The serial number is found on the right side of the receiver along the lower edge. The right side of the barrel is marked “Model 81, BLR Caliber .308 Only / Patent No. 3377731”. This version features the desirable "Steel Receiver" not the alloy one. The BLR comes with one factory detachable box magazine and can be chambered for rounds with pointed tip bullets that would be inappropriate for the tubular magazines more commonly used in lever-action rifles. These were designed with a geared lever and bolt design that can accommodate high-pressure modern rounds. With the best feature for me which is the trigger moves with the lever when it is operated, which prevents the shooter's trigger finger from being pinched between the lever and the stock when the lever is closed. It has the original sights still on it and has had a Uncle Mike's sling swivel kit installed as you can see. On top are a set of Weaver scope mounts and rings with a Leupold VARI-X II 3-9x40mm scope making a complete package that is ready to go. The scope has clean and clear optics inside and out with a duplex reticule. The scope is still covered by the; Leupold Full Lifetime Guarantee.
All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s. It will be shipped fully insured to your FFL or C&R UPS Ground for $50 with signature required. It will be shipped in a new foam lined double wall cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe
