The 32 5/8"" round barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. All the metal has approx. 96%+ blue. The breechblock has strong case colors. The stock is very fine with no chips or cracks, a strong SWP/1882 cartouche and firing proof, and minimal use/storage dents and dings. The swivels and ramrod are present. It is also equipped with a correct long finger sling. The action functions correctly. Model 1879s are rarely seen in this condition.
