Description:
Winchester Model 70 Pre 64 in 257 Roberts.
Made approx. 1950 with tooled leather sling and
scope.
Purchased from the original owner an elderly gentleman who said he only shot about a box of ammo in total with it.
Bluing wear on the end of the barrel otherwise
good blue. Really nice original stock with sharp checkering.
Bore has strong rifling but is dirty.
Numbered etched bolt
Has a period Kollmorgen 4X scope with Weaver mounts.
Clear optics. (Kollmorgen made periscopes for US Submarines in WWII)
Should make a great shooter. I bought it to take Antelope hunting but never got to go.
Requires FFL.
