Description:
A black and spotted, Hermann H. Heiser model #2410 Cheyenne Double Loop right Side Holster in near "as new" original condition. This holster is made from smooth oak tanned California skirting leather with a sewn main seam. As noted in H. H. Heiser Catalogs, the model #2410 Cheyenne Double Loop Side Holster is the same as the #710 Double Loop Side Holster. It is made to carry a Colt Single Action Model Revolver with a 4 3/4 or 5 1/2 inch barrel length for a right hand shooter. This holster is properly marked with the Heiser Denver Trademark Oval makers mark which dates this holster from early 20th century. The outstanding feature is the very rare nickel spots and that makes it the top of the line as far as collectable Heiser holster go. Absolutely no modifications have been done to this holster which is so often seen on these old rigs. Who ever owned this holster fancied himself a star of the first order to own such a holster. This holster cries out for a nickel plated or engraved old Colt. The leather is fully alive and would give a century of service or displaying with your Colt. All the stitches are tight. My Colt is not included. As I look at this holster, I keep thinking of a dusty street of the back lots at a hollywood studio.
