Ruger Firearm Company is famous for its single action, Colt-style, revolvers. It also produces popular shotgun and rifles. The Ruger Red Label model shotgun was first produced in 1977 and discontinued in 2014. It was made in 20 ga. only, until 1982 when a 12 ga. was introduced. It was named after the red label used in its gun cases, such as this framed example.
