SALE PENDING on this Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Ultra Grade 1 of 1000 in .270 Win caliber. This rifle may possibly be unfired but I cannot say for certainty. The rifle has gold enlays on the receiver, floorplate and 1 of 1000 on the barrel. The receiver also has engraving through out and also on the top tang.There is the head of a Big Horn Sheep engraved on the floorplate.The blue appears to be about perfect at 100%. The wood is a deluxe grade walnut with cut fleur delix checkering with factory swivel studs enlayed in the wood. The wood is highly figured especially the rear stock. The forend is schnabeled and the butt is fitted with a thin red pad with a Winchester logo. I do not see any dings,scratches,cracks or other imperfections in the wood also rated about 100%.The grip cap is blue and engraved also. The bolt knob is also engraved. The bolt is jeweled and of push feed design.The bore and rifling are pristine and mirror shiny. I see no wear or marks on the follower or feed ramp which would lead you to believe that a round has ever been chambered. Included with this rifle is a leather sling with a Basket Weave pattern which is stamped with MODEL 70 ULTRA FEATHERWEIGHT and does not appear to ever have been used. I will ship this rifle in a hard case to the Continental US only including AK and HI which require extra postage as does CA. The remainder of the US will ship for $75.00 including the hard case.
