Description:
For sale, Victor Sarasqueta ejector double rifle, 2 bbl set. One set is a .410 Shotgun , the other is 8x57 R Double Rifle, with makers case. The rifle sports a pistol grip stock with kidney cheeck piece, and droppers, of fine Spanish wood. The .410 bbls are 27.5 long. The 8x57jr (.318 bore) bbls are 25" long. The coin finished frame sports deep relief carving depicting nymphs or possibly The Goddess Diana, watching game, and a hunter on the bottom. Both bbl sets are chopper lump, have matted ribs, the rifle being 7/16" wide.
The factory fitted case is hardwood, with brass corners and locks, has spaces for both bbls, the forend, action, tools and ammunition. The case shows superficial water damage at one end.
Dimensions are 1 1/2" x 2 1/8" by 14 1/2", from single trigger to original 1" pad, cast is nuetral.
