Listing another early Colt Lightning Rifle, this ones a 38/40 caliber, with a 26" round barrel, sights are open, wood is all original , cresent style butt plate, open top reciever, checkered forearm Rampant Colt is present on left side early 617 serial number. Functions smooth, locks up tight. Bore is very good. I've shot this more than once with cowboy ammo , shoots very accurate .Truly a nice old 1884 American old west rifle. Fit anyone's collection. Brownish patina, don't know the reason , some blue some brownish , I'll let the experts hash that out. I accept money orders through USPS or a bank money order.
