Description:
L.C. Smith Ideal grade 20 gauge in very nice overall condition; Some original and some refinished. It has ejectors and a non-selective Hunter One trigger; Which in itself is much rarer than the selective Hunter One tigger. It locks up tight, and has very nice screws. One of the nicest figured stock and fore-end combos that I have seen on an Ideal grade. Original wood to metal fit is exceptional. The lever sits right of center. Case coloring is muted and dark with full coverage. Bluing is excellent. Varnish, barrel bluing and trigger guard look to be refinished at some point. It was built in 1930. It has 26" barrels with ejectors. Right barrel measures:.601"( Light Mod.) and left measures:.591" (Improved Mod). 14" LOP to end of butt plate. 1 5/16" drop at comb and 2 1/4" drop at heel. Weighs around #6.25. This would make a great addition to your collection or a great field gun. Buyer pays insured UPS Ground charge. 3 day non-firing, non-disassembly inspection period. Buyer is responsible for shipping both ways if returned and $25 handling fee.
