Description:
Browning Model 12, Grade 1, Limited Edition, 20-Gauge Pump Shotgun.  Copied from the Winchester Model 12, this Browning has a 26-inch modified-choke barrel with a ventilated rib and 2¾ - inch chamber.  The length of pull is 14 inches.  The drop at the comb is about 1¾ inches (measure from the line from the elevated rib) .  The drop at the heel is 2½ inches (also measured from the line from the elevated rib).  Year of manufacture is 1989.  Other accessories include the original cardboard box with styrofoam inserts and original Owner’s Manual.

The barrel is labeled on the left side with “BROWNING MODEL 12 20 GAUGE – 2¾” SHELLS ONLY MOD.”.  The barrel is labeled on the right side with “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.” (first line) and “MADE IN JAPAN” (second line).

The condition of the gun is 99+ percent.  The owner says it has had about a hundred shells fired through it, but it does not look it.

The finish on metal and walnut wood is all original.  The barrel, elevated rib, receiver, and trigger guard are 100 percent, with no marks or other blemishes.  There are a few marks on the magazine tube due to pumping action.  The forearm is 100 percent; it is unblemished.  The checkering of the forearm is deep, crisp, and unmarred.  The checkering on the pistol grip is also deep and crisp and unmarred.  The stock is 99+.  I found three tiny dents (barely noticeable and only is good lighting) on the right side of the stock and none on the left side and top.  I found a half-inch line dent on the stock belly about a half inch from the toe; it does not break the finish and it is smooth to the touch.  The heel of the butt plate has a very small amount of scuffing on heel of the butt plate; the rest of the butt plate is like new.  The butt plate is labeled “BROWNING”.

The buyer pays $45 for USPS Priority Mail and $19.35 for insurance.  Per the USPS , insurance is calculated as $9.55 for the first $600, plus $1.40 for each additional $100 (rounded up).   Virginia buyers must pay 5.3% sales tax.

The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money orders, as they are like cash, and I don’t have to wait for them to clear.  However, I will accept a personal check, other type checks, or other type money orders, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; that includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.  Keep in mind that USPS money orders are limited to $1,000, so this purchase will require two USPS money orders.  Check or money orders must be made out to Jerry Pownall.

If you wish to contact me, please "Email Seller".  I will answer your questions, explain the purchase and transfer process, and provide my mailing address.  I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays.  I will return emails Saturday evening.
