Payment Types Accepted: money order Description: Here is a solid old Smith and Wesson .44-40 with a 6" barrel gone to brown-gray patina. Works fine in DA and locks up well but no full cock notch on the hammer, Bore is good with no rust or pitting, just some very mild fuzziness that one might expect from a 120 year-old survivor of the black powder era. Extractor works as it should. Grips are original in very good condition. If you have a gunsmith who can file a new notch in the hammer to hold for single action, you can have a very reasonably priced sixgun from the old west era. No ffl required as these were all antiques. $40 shipping and insurance via priority mail.
