This Scarce Colt 1849 features the desirable 6” barrel and late Vine Scroll Factory engraving executed by the master himself, Gustave Young. This Colt features the rarely encountered Nickel Plated finish. Very few Colts of this era and model were manufactured with the nickel plated finish. Normally when you do see one, they’ll be standard configuration guns. This example also features deluxe grips accompanied with the extra treatment this gun had it surely makes it highly unusual and an excellent addition to a Colt collection!
