Description:
Standard carbine configuration with 22 inch barrel and saddle ring. 30-40 Krag caliber being the most common. Pinned blade front sight and carbine folding ladder rear. Thinning original blue on the barrel. Most original blue remains on the receiver with some light scratches and the bottom of the magazine is a silver/gray color. There are two non-factory filled holes in the left side for a receiver sight. There is a "C.S.P." and "34" stamped on the buttplate. This is a rack number for some agency I would imagine. Wood is in fine condition with only light handling mars. Trapdoor in butt contains some cleaning attachments but cleaning rod is not present. Crisp action and a fine bore. 1895 SRC's are getting harder to find every day and this is a good looking one being 95 years old!
