Here's a nice little Marlin 39-A, that as I understand it, was made for one year in this format-1939. This gun has a case hardened receiver that was changed to blue in subsequent years. This particular gun features strong barrel and magazine blue, with case colored receiver being faded and mottled. Totally original with excellent mechanics and bore, the wood is in nice shape with the factory buttplate intact. It has a 24 inch round barrel and is serial number 309. These are very slick lever repeaters that handle S--L and LR cartridges. Sure to please and use Buy Now and I'll pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48.
