This Springfield Armory U.S. Model 1898 is a right hand bolt action rifle in .30-40 Krag. It has a 24 inch barrel. A raised blade front sight and an adjustable notch middle sight. The butt stock is a diamond checkered grip walnut straight grip. The forearm is a diamond checkered grip walnut Schnabel style with finger grooves. Serial Number 269837. .30-40 Krag
