STARR MODEL M1863 SA .44 PERCUSSION REVOLVER. ALL MATHCING NUMBERS. EXCELLENT MECHANICAL AND COSMETIC CONDITION. Fully functional action with good timing/lock-up, much of the original finish remaining, faded in some spots more than others like most old guns, and a good well rifled bore with a little residue, but still a very good bore. There are two faint military cartouches present on the grips and lots of very clear/crisp sub inspection marks. There is small hole on the bottom of the grip which I assume was for a lanyard ring and that this was likely a US Union army calvary officer's sidearm. It's a nice example indeed.
