Colt Model 1917 U.S. Army issue for WW I .45 ACP caliber. Bore is excellent, action works indexes and locks up perfectly Revolver has approximately 90% plus military blue. The grip straps are turning to a light brown patina. The grips are very good and show normal wear commensurate with the grip straps patina. Overall this is a fine 1917 Colt. Note: This is a .45 ACP revolver and loading requires the use of Half Moon clips to hold the rimless cartridges in place.
