#395880, Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 Featherweight in 30-06 Made in 1957 with controlled round feed with a claw extractor, 22" barrel, The rear sight removed with a blank in the dovetail, Standard Model 70 3 position safety, Model 70 trigger, Standard Featherweight Model 70 hinged floorplate, Monte carlo comb, Standard point pattern checkering, Sling swivels on the stock, The top of the bolt handle shank has been filed some to accommodate a low mounted scope 13 11/16" LOP over a 5/8"" pad, It will go 14 1/8" with a 1" pad installed 7 lbs. 4 oz., The original barrel blue is 92%, The receiver blue is 88%, The floorplate & trigger guard with original finish is 60%, The wood has been very nicely reoiled and now at 98%, The checkering is 95%, The bore is excellent. This piece remains a solid using Pre-64 in every respect.
