Payment Types Accepted: Money Oder Description: Listing a old Whitney Kennedy rifle , had it for some time, shot it, pretty decent mechanic's and bore for a 139 year old rifle, has a 24" octagon barrel and serpentine lever, the early ones I guess. Serial number D-221 dates it to 1882 according to Mr. Olsen's book . Came from a hardware store in northern Wisconsin. Favorite among deer hunters years past. Now I guess most are plastic ??, couldn't help but put that in there.has a open rear sight with a missing elevator , front blade. Never had it apart but believe all the parts are numbered with serial number. It's an antique so to your door, insured through USPS, needs a adult signature . I'm asking a higher price simply because if you happened on some nice wood the metal is really decent for a very old rifle. Has some chips missing up along the tang. Maybe a good wood guy could fix it. anyway I'd need postal money orders and you could look it over and ship it back insured if you didnt like it, after a few days and I'd refund your money less shipping, no firing or dismantling , if you buy it and want to shoot it please have your gun smith check her out and Cowboy loads only .
