E.F.B.- Luna Pre-War International Target Free Pistol, 22 LR This is an example of a Pre-World War II production Luna International Target Free pistol. Ramp post front sight and adjustable "U" notch rear target sight. The top barrel flat is matted, the left rear flat is marked with a crown, the left side of the receiver is marked "E.F.B.- LUNA" in a rectangle panel over a target and serial number 819. The right side barrel is marked with a "crown/B" and "crown U" proof. Falling block action (martini action) with lever/cocker mounted on the heel. Lightly border engraved receiver and trigger guard, set trigger and finger spur on the trigger guard. Fitted with a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and target grip with a contoured right-hand rest on the right panel and thumb rest on the left. This gun comes with a custom made box (marked "WARREN CENTER")that holds an included cleaning rod and space for ammo and cleaning supplies. This is a C&R gun.
The barrel retains 98% original blue finish. The receiver retains 95% original bright case colors with areas of smooth gray. The trigger guard retains 98% original case colors mixed with a smooth gray patina. The forearm and grip are also excellent and the checkering remains sharp. The action is fine and the barrel are perfect.
