Description:
Beautifully engraved and gold inlaid Browning Superposed shotgun in the Superlight configuration with straight English stock and Schnaubel (tulip) forend. Fairly rare to find a Presentation grade P2 in a 12 ga. bore and a Superlight stock. Oil finished high grade dark wood with light colored feathering throughout the finely checkered wood. Checkering is sharp and appears unhandled. Engraving is outstanding finely hand cut with gold inlaid doves on the right, quail on the left, and dog's head on the bottom. I chose this one as these are usually my main quarry to hunt. I bought this gun for myself right here in Gunsinternational about 6 years ago and it's been in the safe ever since. I had shoulder surgery right after purchasing it and decided not to take any more chances with a 12 ga. on it. I've since switched to smaller bores. It does have a factory installed pad which could be removed and replaced with a plate to decrease the overall pull. SST, AE, vent rib with modifield and improved fixed choke bores.
