This antique Vetterli Model 1878 was manufactured in Bern, Switzerland is 10.4x42R rimfire cartridge. It is all matching numbers. The serial number is 167993 and has the 1200-meter adjustable rear sight and a 12 round tube magazine. It retains over 95% blue with near excellent wood, only a few blemishes and dings. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight and has a near excellent bright and shiny bore. This one is in fantastic condition.
