As new original canvas case with all accessories   Makers tan canvas case with leather trim lined with maroon cloth with gold embossed black leather maker’s label and remains almost as new, used only to store the gun, never carried afield. Accessories include square oil bottle, pair of snap caps, 2-pc wooden cleaning rod, assorted mops and brushes, and a box of cloth patches, all factory new and unused. CONDITION: Like new in case. Screws have not been touched. Case is as new with straps still coiled in case and never installed on it. One of the last W & C Scott guns made in the late 1980s after the company was taken over by Holland & Holland. They were finished to a higher standard of quality than the run of the mill post war Scott guns. When Holland & Holland ceased production of the W & C Scott guns in 1991 the manufacturers retail price for ‘The Bowood’ was $12,500. I purchased it from H&H at their Greenbrier event in 2000 after they allowed me to demo fire it for a round of clays. I might have shot one round of skeet with it since then but never carried it hunting. She is a true ‘safe queen’! Please do not confuse W & C Scott guns with the much inferior Webley & Scott guns of the period.  I have owned and shot both and there smply is no comparison in fit, finish, engraving, balance, and style between the two.  W & C Scott is in a different league of English guns, especially those produced under Holland & Holland ownership of the company.
