SALE PENDING on this 1943 manufacture Colt Official Police revolver in 38 Spl. caliber. This is a 6 shot revolver with a 4" barrel. The blue is Very Good which I rate at about 90%. The front and back grip strap are turning a little grey. The frame and barrel have good blue coverage with slight wear on the high edges, cylinder and muzzle.One screw head is buggered. All stampings are sharp. Lock up is very good with normal cylinder play. The bore is clean and shiny with great rifling. The grips are wood with cut checkering and Colt Medallions on each panel.The grips are excellent with no chips or cracks. This is a nice Colt Double Action Revolver which I do not think you would be disappointed in.It is not a closet queen but quite nice and you would not be afraid to shoot it.Although it has seen some use It has been cared for.
