No cracks or scratch's other than light use marks , one spot on barrel looks rubbed, I tried to show it, serial number on lower tang 64.119 was not able to find correct site to date it.I'm guessing 1912. the 22 LR was introduced in 1887 , after 30 years of short and long only. Savage was one of the first to introduce a rifle to chamber it along with a box magazine. They were available in 5 & 7 shot clips, I loaded this one and it's 7 shot. Bore is mint. The barrel is marked 1908 but that I learned was a later patent date. This is a very nice old rifle. I've had this a good number of years, don't recall where I even got it any more. Thought I had to have it . Priced higher simply because the nice condition. If someone is serious no lowballing I will listen to offers. Trying to reduce my inventory.
