PRE-WW2 GAS TRAP SPRINGFIELD U.S. M1 OR M-1 GARAND .30-06 CAL RIFLE CA. FEB. 1939. Four digit 95xx serial range rebuild with original receiver in the original parkerized finish. Replacement repro wood with correct type “SA/SPG” cartouche and “P” stamp behind trigger guard. Replacement new barrel with no date stamp. Reproduction new gas trap not recommended as safe to shoot as were the originals. Before shooting it should be properly replaced with a standard gas cylinder and is offered as a non-shooter collector item only. Excellent plus condition with wood and repro parts in near new condition. Mint bore. Repro leather military sling.
