Description:
This revolver was manufactured circa 1900-1903 for the Wilkinson Sword Company of London and is essentially a slightly modified version of the Model 1892. In the Wilkinson company records these revolvers were referred to as the "1900 Model". They generally have a better quality finish than standard Webley revolvers, have an improved cylinder cam and Wilkinson markings. The bottom left of the grip has the Wilkinson register number "W. 755" that places this example in the correct W467-W967 range for this model as identified by Bruce and Reinhart on page 144 of "WEBLEY REVOLVERS". The barrel rib is marked "WILKINSON SWORD CO PALL MALL. LONDON." with "HW" inside a six pointed star (resembles "Star of David") logo of Wilkinson on the left rear flat of the barrel along with "ENGLAND". The serial number is on the bottom of the barrel lug and the cylinder is marked with British proofs. The caliber designation "455/476" is marked on left side barrel flat. The front blade sight is dovetailed into the rib and the rear sight is a "U" notch in the barrel latch. The grip is one-piece checkered walnut with an initial oval on the back and a steel butt cap with a lanyard ring. Initials AEDA engraved on this oval.

Superb action, mint bore, some loss of finish as seen in pictures.

Leather luggage style case engraved with AEDA on lid to match initial oval. Case is complete with vintage cleaning rod and two oil bottles. Case is in excellent condition but some damage to lid
