Description:
I have used this mould with various .58 caliber 2 and 3 band original and reproduction rifled muskets I have previously owned. The mould is in excellent working condition and for me at least has cast a beautiful minnie, dipping from an open top electric foundry loaded with pure lead. Once mated with the proper powder load and lube, I have always experienced consistency with this round ball’s loading and accuracy. The mould includes handles so you will not have to invest separately in those. (I see these days those are running $49 apiece on line). The mould also comes with both short and long pins, so if you wish to try varying the depth of your bullet cavity for different applications you may do so. My price is $100, which includes the cost of shipping by priority USPS package. I only sell and ship to residents in the Continental US, and only accept payment by USPS money order. I am not a retail business, but merely an old guy parting with a number of gun, shooting or history related items I have accumulated through the years.
