Description: General Specs: Perazzi, Year 1998, 12 Gauge, 8lb 7oz, Chokes IC/M, LOP 14 1/4", DAH 2 3/4"- 1 1/2", DAC 1 1/2" Serial Number: 110149 Here we have an as new, barely fired high end Perazzi MX8. Set up as a fine sporting clays gun with IC/M fixed chokes and lively 8lb. 7oz. weight, balanced dead on the hinge pin. Built in 1998 and still cased in the maker's case, the gun has seen little use. The previous owner had many fine guns and really never used this one. Exhibition American black walnut with just a few tiny handling marks, 100% metal finishes, drop out trigger group, and fine bulino style game scene engraving by Gentili make this a stunningly attractive Perazzi over/under. The price to buy the same gun in today's market exceeds $24,500, making this a tremendous bargain at a fraction of that price. The custom stock was done by Tom Smith, a stocker with a grand reputation for building the finest custom competition stocks in the sporting clays world. The high Monte Carlo style stock with right hand palm swell has a "parallel comb" that reduces felt recoil to the face and shoulder, which is greatly appreciated when shooting a few hundred shells in an afternoon outing. This gun also has a tapered rib, flat main springs for the fastest lock times, removable trigger group, and a 30-day shooting warranty. Perazzi is the accepted leader in the target gun world, with incredible durability and more Olympic and International awards than any other gun maker. The value of this gun will hold or increase, as the cost of new Perazzi guns continues to rise. This is essentially a brand-new gun!
