Colt research letter, included with sale, indicates this was one of 1000 gun shipment for the Canadian Government, shipped to J. Wesley Allison in New York in 1914. This example appears all original, Excellent bore and rifling, clean action interior, test fired fine. Bears London Cordite proof marks, no importer marks.
