Description:
A factory letter accompanies this stunning 1st Model .32 Hand Ejector AKA Model of 1896, SERIAL NUMBER 26, detailing its original shipment on December 1, 1898 to the Simmons Hardware Company in St. Louis, Missouri. Bar none the finest example of the model to be had this incredibly special revolver is equipped with a 4 1/4” barrel, original high luster blue finish and the most wonderful set of factory prototype pearl and red-mottled Gutta Percha grips. Note the German silver front sight blade and rarely seen original straw colored hammer and trigger.

There are three important notes about this gun; first the extremely LOW serial number, second the fabulous factory pearl grips and third the absolutely incredible condition. The gun rates 99%+ on any scale with only the faintest of collector type handling evidence present. The original blue finish is outstanding from end to end and is extremely bright! The factory grips are made with a flawless top layer of bright mother of pearl with a base layer of red mottled Gutta Percha, they have the unmistakable radial groove marks on the top edges. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. Far and away the best 1896 any collector could ever hope for: investment grade, rare, unique, early production and the best possible condition! A must own!!
